Château Pontet-Canet is a large estate located in Pauillac, a Bordeaux premium right-bank village. Organic and biodynamic since 2004, the 81-hectare Estate vineyard borders those of Mouton Rothschild and is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (63%) Merlot (32%), and Cabernet Franc (5%). The Bordeaux Wine Official Classification classifies Pontet-Canet as a 5ème Cru Classé.
On the nose and palate, there is ripe fruit, a silky texture, freshness, great balance, and elegance. Rather than power, 13' use finesse.
