Arcano - Ribera del Duero 'Carraroa' Tempranillo 2018

A Tempranillo from two hill vineyards (Laderas del Monte, Rodero). Organic certified vineyard in hills with less than 400 l rainfall per year, hand picked in October 2018. Fermented in stainless steel 3000 litre tank. Minimal intervention in the winery and fermentation with wild yeasts. Aged for at least one year in 225 l used French oak barrels before spending another year in bottle before release. A blend of workmanship and technology that completely respect natural processes, so that the wine is a reflection of its origin.

Deep purple red colour, It offers aromas of ripe black fruit, together with touches of liquorice, spices and tobacco as befits the Tempranillo variety. Good fruit intensity and a great deal of freshness. Combines good tannic structure, intensity and elegance.
