The Herdade dos Lagos estate is in the Valley of the Camels, or Vale de Camelos, in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal, which used to be known as the nation's breadbasket. As a result, agriculture is where the estate got its start. Currently, the farm is being managed by a dedicated, passionate team who are working in harmony with the natural environment to protect the local biodiversity and the future of the area.
HDL Reserve 2017, is a blend of Shiraz & Syrah, Aragonez (Tempranillo). Deep dark red colour. Aroma of: Anise, cinnamon, blackberry and fennel. The palate reveals finely grained tannin, a structured red with glorious length and depth of flavour. Soft, velvety finish.
