ABOUT THE MAKER:
Laurent Harbrad, a 5th generation winemaker, took over the Estate from his parents in 1998, and today oversees 15 hectares spread across Crozes-Hermitage, Saint Joseph and Hermitage. Certified Organic since 2011, Laurent Habrard has been working towards reducing the vineyard's environmental impact, often referring to organic conversion as a way of apologising to Mother Nature. The harvest is done exclusively by hand and Laurent picks grapes in small boxes to avoid oxidation.
ABOUT THE WINE:
This combination of 90% Marsanne and 10% Roussanne fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured in used barrels reveal bright aromas of citrus, yellow fruits, and white florals. The mouthfeel is wrapped around a creamy texture, with a pleasant acidity. Towards the end, there are hints of stone fruits and apricots.
