Quinta de Pedra Escrita DO Douro Colheita Red Blend 2018

A significant historical site in the Douro area is Quinta de Pedra Escrita. A inscribed stone (pedra escrita) was erected during the time the appellation's boundaries were defined as a reminder of the important places of the area. Colheita 2018, has a powerful and vibrant perfume that perfectly captures the crisp summer nights at altitude in the Douro Superior. It is characterised by violets, black and scarlet fruits , and very delicate notes of French barrique. On the palate, Freshness, acidity, and fine tannins suggest the terroir characteristic of the Douro valley and allow to foresee longevity.
