Pinord DO Penedes 'Chateldon' Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

The Pinord's Family wines are sourced from the Muntanyans estate in Penedes, where Cabernet grapes are grown on an unique plot. It goes through  a meticulous production process with a minimum maceration duration of three weeks. This wine was matured in oak barrels for almost 14 months before being bottled and aged in the bottle for another two years.

The colour is a deep crimson with violet overtones; it is clear and dazzling. Raisin and jam notes are intense, with hints of wood. More varietal aromas and spicy notes, like as clove or pepper, will emerge as you swirl the glass. A smooth palate with mild ageing. The flavours of the wine shine out in fine harmony with the body of the wine as a result of its maturing. A lengthy finish and a robust, strong body leave a delightful aftertaste.
