The Domaine Rotier tale begins in 1975, when Alain Rotier's parents purchased an almost abandoned vineyard with the purpose of resurrecting the estate. Because the environment is a great concern for them, they decided to switch to organic cultivation in their vineyards in 2005. Alain and Francis are ardent supporters of the Gaillac grape varietals Braucol, Duras, and Loin de l'il, and are passionate about their terroir.
In its youth, this wine is dark purple and fruity on the nose, with notes of cassis and cherry mingling with liquorice, pepper and other spices. Full and rich on the palate with good tannic structure and a delicately fruity finish.
