ABOUT THE MAKER:
Located in the beautiful valley of Montoulieu, 20km north of Montpellier, Sauzet Winery is a magical place within a sumptuously preserved countryside - a paradise for vineyards and olive groves. Growing 14 different grape varieties along their 21 hectares of vineyards, Sauzet wines are known to be unique, surprising blends coming from small fields, small yields, and small vintages. 

TO THE WINE:
Unusual and elegant wine... A 100% unfiltered Syrah, not aged in barrels, a pure and clean juice.
This wine is named after François Massol's parents, the chief winemaker at Domaine de Sauzet. Pure and raw, this powerful red wine is the perfect expression of the Languedoc Syrah.
The nose reminds of liquorice and black pepper. On the palate, we have silky tannin and black fruits with a long aftertaste.
