Rhone Valley

Côtes-du-Rhône has been the home of wine culture since ancient times, with the Romans established the vineyards and reputation by taking advantage of Rhone’s geographical elements. The list can go on and on and on for the wine varietals in this region, in general, the wine produce can be distinguished by the following levels of quality though.

Côtes du Rhône AOC produces half of the wine in the region, blends are with Grenache and Syrah. This is classified as the essential of the wine quality in Rhone.
Côtes du Rhône Villages AOC represents the lower yields of the produce yet slightly higher alcohol which is ideal for aging.
The Crus is the perfect reflection of the individual terroir and it is producing 20% of the wine production in Rhone.
