ABOUT THE MAKER:
For over 40 years, the Buganza family has been producing and bottling quality wines from the Langhe and Roero, in the heart of Piedmont. The winery features 50-year-old vineyards and extends over 35 hectares. Vineyards are still manually worked, and picking is carried out with the utmost attention, selecting the highest quality bunches to produce the best wine.
TO THE WINE:
"The King of Nebbiolo," Barolo It is rich garnet in colour and has been refined for 22 months in both French and Slavonian. It has fragrant notes of red and purple flowers, cinnamon, cloves, leather, and evolves with each whiff. The taste is full-bodied, rich, and exquisite, with flavours of liquorice, cherry liqueur, chocolate, and fresh raspberries. An aristocratic wine that pairs well with game, red meat, roasted beef... Excellent with recipes topped with Alba white truffles. A wine for the ages that matures gently and steadily in the bottle.
