Right in the heart of the Sancerre , lies the small family winery of Vincent Gaudry.The Gaudry's themselves live Steiner's biodynamic philosophy from the heart. The use of building preparations in the vineyard as well as the temperature-regulated fermentation in modern stainless steel tanks and the subsequent ageing in traditional 400-l barrique barrels preserve the wines their impressive minerality and lively character.
Vincent Gaudry composes this cuvée from the old vines, which are over 50 years old. All his wines are rather restrained in their youth and need a certain bottle maturity to reveal their range of aromas and complexity, which is especially true here. Restrained flint minerals in the nose, with lemon juice, lime, sage and hay, still incredibly compact, with a supporting mature acid structure, subtle with a lot of ageing potential.
