Domaine Laurent Habrard - AOC Crozes-Hermitage Grand Classique Rouge 2021

ABOUT THE MAKER:
Laurent Habrard, a 5th generation winemaker, took over the Estate from his parents in 1998, and today oversees 15 hectares spread across Crozes-Hermitage, Saint Joseph and Hermitage. Certified Organic since 2011, Laurent Habrard has been working towards reducing the vineyard's environmental impact, often referring to organic conversion as a way of apologising to Mother Nature. The harvest is done exclusively by hand and Laurent picks grapes in small boxes to avoid oxidation. 

ABOUT THE WINE:
This pure Syrah gives a traditional representation of Crozes-Hermitage while also combining depth and refinement, with aromas of rich black fruits, violets, and minerals, and a crisp and vibrant palate. While exceedingly drinkable, the tannic texture and overall balance will allow for a 3-5 year cellaring period during which the wine will grow in depth.
