Domaine de la Vougeraie was founded in 1999 by the Boisset family. The winery produce wines from some of the most exclusive regions of Burgundy in the heart of the Côte d'Or. These include locations such as Charmes-Chambertin, Bonnes Mares, Clos Vougeot and many more. These premier and grand cru plots, which are in demand worldwide, have been gradually acquired by the family over the years. Since day one, organically farmed and in some parts biodynamically.
This is always a benchmark Bonnes Mares because Vougeraie owns vines on the two, really very different, terroirs of this Grand Cru, the yin and yang of Bonnes Mares. This is wonderfully intense, really luscious, head-spinning and compelling, then the iron notes of the terres rouges take over. Drink 2026-2032.
