ABOUT THE MAKER:
Domaine La Tour Boisée is a family estate established in 1826 in the centre of the AOC Minervois appellation next to Carcassonne. Growing over 20 different grape varietals along their 60-hectare domaine, wines express the harmony behind the Mediterranean sun.
TO THE WINE:
Dedicated to the winemaker's daughter, this wine is made from old vines (40-60 years old) of Syrah and Grenache that were blended before fermentation and aged in a cement vat. Its nose is very expressive, inviting you to indulge in red fruit aromas and dark berry compote. Fruit dominates the palate; complexity and finesse are inextricably linked. The structure is ample, round, and full-bodied, with silky tannins laced throughout.
